Name: The Pranic Body.
Key Word(s): Purity, Energy, Fearlessness, Self-Initiation.
Key Saying(s): Finite to infinite.
Guru: Guru Har Krishan – A young child who was a great healer.
Question(s): Do I fearlessly embrace life? Do I have enough energy to fulfil my goals?
The pranic body is all about the breath. It brings life force and energy into your system via the breath, which allows you to feel fearless, alive and connected. You breathe deeply, are self-motivated and have enough energy to achieve your goals when this body is in balance. You can connect easily to your inner self and the Infinite.
This body aids and nurtures the other bodies. It gives you vitality. And fearlessness.
All disease starts with an imbalance with the Pranic Body. When it is weak you may have constant fatigue and anxiety and you may try to get energy from food or stimulants.
How to Balance: Kriya for the Eighth Body. All pranayam. Calibar of Life Meditation.
Resources: From my understanding, Yogi Bhajan taught about the ten bodies sporadically over many years of teaching. He didn’t teach a class on the Ten Bodies. Various students of his have collected the information I will be presenting to you here, namely from the The Aquarian Teacher Instructor Manual Level One and The Ten Light Bodies of Consciousness by Nivair Singh Khalsa.
