On the ascension path, the term sovereignty comes up a lot. More often than not, people aren’t sure what it means to become a sovereign being. Here is how I think of it:
To be a sovereign being means to be fully self-governing, radically responsible and in perfect alignment with the Universal Laws. The way I imagine it is this: I imagine myself as a country. Everyone I meet is their own country. My border is the edge of my aura which contains all facets of me as an individual. The aura contains the astral body, the etheric body, the emotional and mental bodies, my physical body, everything.
As someone who is governing my own country, I need to be aware and utilize all my resources in the best possible way. This means that I am aware of when my emotional body needs time to process or when I’ve run low on energy. I’m aware of the unhealthy patterns and working on shifting them. Sometimes I act a bit too aggressively and notice that no other countries want to be my friend or I isolate myself and notice that I’ve made myself into an island.
As a sovereign being, I am intimately aware of all aspects of my being and what my needs are. I am able to give from an overflowing cup the extra resources I do have – money, time, emotional or mental energy, etc. and possibly receive what I need. I am able to consciously create the life I desire because of the deep intimacy I have with my own self.
As I grow as a sovereign being the programming inside of my brain, which is the computer operated by my consciousness which grows in awareness each and every day, the programming shifts and releases into programming that is in more alignment with my true nature (divinity). As this true nature programming comes into being I operate more and more from a place of healthiness and integrity. As I become less controlled by the paradigms of fear, power, and corruption I become less influenced by what is around me until I become a fully self-governed being, guided by love, truth and divinity.
